Inthespringof1973,aprehistoricculturalrelicwasdiscoveredontheplatformonthenorthbankofXinkaiheRiverinHuangguDistrict,ShenyangCity,LiaoningProvince,whichopenedthepreludetotheexcavationofXinleSite.Afterfivefieldarchaeologicalexcavationsonthesitefrom1973to1993,itwasdeterminedthatthesitewasdistributedinanareaof​​about178,000squaremeters.44relicsofthelowerfloorsofXinlewerediscovered,andmorethan3,000variousrelicswereunearthed.TheupperpartoftheearlyculturalrelicsinShenyangwasdetermined.Theculturalaccumulationandbasiccharacteristicsofthethreelayersof,middleandlower.　　Theupper-classcultureofXinleismainlyrepresentedbypolishedstonewareandplainpottery,鬲,甗,etc.,3,000-4,000yearsago.Themiddle-classcultureismainlyrepresentedbypolishedstoneaxes,finestonetools,andpotterypots,potsandbowlswithpiledpatterns,about5,000yearsago.TheconnotationofXinle’slower-levelculturemainlyconsistsoftheNeolithicculturalaccumulationlayerwithsemi-cryptedbuildingresidentialsitesandstamped"Zigzag"patternpottery,finestoneware,stoneware,polishedstoneware,andcoalrefinedproductsasthemainrelics.Itisabout7200yearsnow.Thelower-levelcultureofXinle,withrichculturalconnotationsanddistinctivelocalcharacteristics,isatypicalrepresentativeofXinleculture.　　Afterthemuseumwasbuiltin1984,thebasicdisplayofthemuseumhasbeenadjusted,remodeledandupdatedmanytimestomeettheneedsofthetimes.InApril1994,tensemi-cryptprimitivebuildingsinthesiteareawererestored,andanarchaeologicalexcavationsitewasretained.ThehousesitereproducestheproductionandlifescenesoftheancestorsofXinle,suchascollectivedeliberations,slaughteringandhunting,andexperiencethelifeandwisdomoftheancestorsoftheancientvillage.Builtin1998,itis21metershigh(symbolizingthe21stcentury)andcoveredwithgoldleaf.ItcanbecalledthesunbirdsculpturethatwasthelandmarkofShenyangCityHallSquareatthattime.Itisdesignedbasedonthewoodcarvingartworkofculturalrelicsinourmuseum.MovedbacktoXinlesiteinMay2010.Aftervisiting,theaudiencecantakealeisurelybreaktoviewtheentiresculptureandshowpeopletheprofoundculturalandhistoricalheritageofShenyang.
